Public Sector Labor Law
Our attorneys represent numerous municipalities in the negotiation and interpretation of their collective bargaining agreements. Specific expertise includes the negotiation of contracts covering police, fire and public safety employees and units consisting of command officers. Abbott Nicholson has represented some of the largest municipalities in Michigan in their Public Act 312 arbitrations and in litigation over pension and benefit plans.
