Kristen L. Baiardi is an attorney with Abbott Nicholson who primarily works as a litigator and counseling motor vehicle dealership clients. She also has a strong background in corporate, probate and municipal law and extensive appellate experience with the Michigan Court of Appeals and Michigan Supreme Court.
Ms. Baiardi represents auto dealership clients in all types of litigation and regulatory compliance matters, including add-point cases and dealer termination disputes.
She joined Abbott Nicholson in 2008.
Ms. Baiardi was admitted to the Michigan Bar in 2008, and was admitted to the federal bar for the U.S. District Court-Eastern District of Michigan, U.S. District Court-Western District of Michigan, and the U.S. Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.
She earned her law degree at Wayne State University Law School and her bachelor’s degree at Boston College.
Ms. Baiardi is a member of the Detroit Metropolitan Bar Association, Oakland County Bar Association, and National Association of Dealer Counsel.
She is a member of the Cranbrook Schools Board of Governors and a director and past president of the Cranbrook Kingswood Alumni Association. She is a director and vice president of the Baiardi Family Foundation, a private charitable foundation, where she is responsible for coordinating all metropolitan Detroit-based grants.
Ms. Baiardi also is chair of the board of the Auburn Hills Community Foundation.
She lives in Birmingham, Mich.
