Our Attorneys

Daniel G. Kielczewski is a Senior Counsel who specializes in commercial law, creditors’ rights, and complex business litigation matters.

Mr. Kielczewski works with individuals and business entities in a wide range of commercial or business matters, including secured and unsecured creditor representation in bankruptcy proceedings, commercial code claims, business torts, shareholder disputes, and construction litigation.

Mr. Kielczewski joined Abbott Nicholson in 1996. He has been an associate and a shareholder in the firm. In October 2017, he took Senior Counsel status with the firm.

He was admitted in 1989 to the Michigan Bar and the federal bar for the U.S. District Court-Eastern and Western districts of Michigan. He was admitted to the U.S. Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals in 1997.

Mr. Kielczewski is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute, American Bar Association, Turnaround Management Association, and Michigan Bar Association.

He earned his doctor of laws degree, cum laude, from the Detroit College of Law (now Michigan State University College of Law). He has bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Michigan.

Mr. Kielczewski lives in Ann Arbor, Mich.
